Domain renewal

  Hello team,
  I renewed my Domain on Mar 1, but cancelled it on same day, which was due to an error on my side. I do not see an option to renew the domain at the same price. Can you help?

  Hi @harryskrishna,

  The harinotes.com domain is presently in redemption. To restore the domain to your account, you’ll need to complete a manual payment, which I have sent to your WordPress.com account email.

  As it’s presently in redemption, you’ll need to pay the $80 redemption fee alongside the $18 registration fee. Please let me know once you’ve completed the payment, and I will work towards restoring the domain to your account.

  Hello,
  But as per the documentation available here : https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/
  the domain is supposed to be in the grace period now, and I thought I will still be able to get my domain back by paying the renewal fees.

  Can you check again and confirm?

  Hi @harryskrishna, we don’t have a way to send a manual PayPal invoice. Are you able to pay the invoice we sent?

  Hi! Apologies, I just noticed that invoice was missing the redemption fee, and unfortunately we can’t waive that as it’s a fee directly from the registrar. I’ve sent a separate invoice for that. Please update us as soon as that’s taken care of.
