Domain Renewal

I let the domain expire, but wish to renew it. I believe I did that, via “My Upgrades”. Indeed, “my domains” now says the domain is active, yet when you visit the domain, it shows an Asian page, not mine. Help?

Hmm, that seems odd. Did you purchase this domain at WordPress.com?
If so, go to My Domains, select your blog from the drop-down and next to your domain hedgeconfessions.com, click the Edit button.
Next, go to Edit DNS tab and edit the NS records to these values:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.comHere is a guide with screenshots on how you can do the above. Note that this will only work if the domain is under your account and you had purchased it from WordPress.com.

The NS record says “handled by WordPress.com”, though there is a message at the top reminding me that name servers need to be set to Ns1.Wordpress.com, etc.
Do I still change it, if it says handled by WP?

Yes, please set them to the name servers I mentioned above and don’t forget to save changes.
Once done, it can take up to 48 hours for changes to take effects.

On the Edit DNS screen, what are the tabs that you see? Email and Edit DNS only?
If so, the domain probably was not purchased here and no more owned by you.
You mentioned the domain got expired, when was it? From the whois, it seems like expiration date would have been November 2014. Upon expiration, a domain goes through a couple of phases before finally being released. During this process, it could have been registered by someone else.
