Domain renewal

  I am receiving messages that my website http://www.staffordshirechurches.org. is to expire on 13 May. However, when I visit the link to the Purchases section of the WordPress website, it seems that I am signed up for the free version of WordPress, which never expires. I am unsure therefore, whether I need to do/pay anything. I do not want to lose the website domain. Could you clarify?

  Your WordPress.com URL, staffordshirechurches.wordpress.com along with the site itself is free and will never expire. However, your custom domain, staffordshirechurches.org, is a subscription that needs to be renewed annually.
