Domain renewal

  I am trying to renew my domain before it expires tomorrow, but it wont give me the option to renew it, it just keeps sending me to the buy a plan section. I just want to renew the domain using the $25 option

  Hi –

  You can renew the domain when logged into the account that originally registered it. If you are not finding the option to renew your domain here: http://wordpress.com/purchases , then you are not logged into the correct account.

  If you need assistance gaining access to the correct account, you can go through Account Recovery.

  So if the original owner transferred me the domain like a week ago, I still wont be able to renew it? It has to be the original account owner who registered it?

  You would find the option to renew the domain at Manage Purchases if the transfer was successful.

  The original owner of the domain can ask for the domain to be transferred by contacting support here:
