Domain Renewal

    Team,
    I am going in circles and my site is down. Go Daddy is saying the Domain is expired.
    Never had any notice and need to get the site back up. Can you please help?

    HI there,

    Your domain expired on 14 May, which means we would have sent you the first notice that it was expiring already on 14 March, and several notices thereafter.

    Your domain is currently in what is called the Redemption Period. This means our registrar has already cancelled the domain and is preparing to sell it again.

    It might still be possible to get your domain back at this stage, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to do this on top of the regular cost of renewing your domain. Let me know if you want to to try and recover the domain, then I’ll send you an email with a link to pay for the recovery and renewal.

    Hi there,

    Since I first replied to you on 30 June, the domain has been released by our registrar which means they don’t control it anymore and anyone can register it. Additionally, it looks like after it was released someone else bought it via networksolutions.com.

    The domain is showing as parked at the moment, so the current owner might be willing to sell it to you directly, but you’ll need to contact Network Solutions to get in touch with the current owner as they control the domain now.
