Domain Renewal

    Hi I purchased a WordPress site a year ago and then cancelled when I found it was free via WordPress.org. I was credited everything but the domain name kauaihomerealty.com which I kept.

    I look on my account settings and it says it never expires…well it did and I need to renew it. can anyone help?

    Hi –

    The .wordpress.com site address does not expire. This address is connected to your custom domain on the account.

    The custom domain needs renewed each year. Since this domain has expired and is now in redemption our domain partner charges an $80 fee to recover it. I need to verify that you agree to pay that charge before we proceed with redemption.

    It’s worth taking a look at the email address on your account at wordpress.com/me/account/ as that is where we sent the reminder emails about the domain expiration.
