  • Hi there,

    Are you speaking of adelightedjourney.com?

That domain expired in December last year and no longer exists – it has already been deleted at our domain provider. You should be able to register it as a new domain.

but when I had to renew it was showing $13/year

The renewal cost for your domain was $18 a year. You saw the $13 because you tried to add the domain back AFTER it was already removed from our system but BEFORE it was deleted at our domain provide, i.e. unavailable, so our system tried to add a mapping upgrade instead.

If you had contacted us at that time, we would still have been able to restore the domain for you. It’s now too late for that.

When I try it out it actually charges me $99/year.

That is correct. Domains cannot be bought on their own any more, but requires that you buy a plan. However, if you go to My Site ->Plans you can select the Personal Plan instead of Premium, and use that to register your domain instead.

So there’s no way I can get adelightedjourney.com back without having to pay $99?

  • You can register it using the Personal Plan, which cost $36, but you cannot register the domain without any plan at all.
