  My domain expired about 3 months ago. I want to have it back again. WP says it is taken, but when I check elsewhere it is available.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  If it’s been three months since your domain’s expiration it’s possible that someone else registered it. If you want you can give me the domain name so I can have a better look.

  Hi datitoff,

  firesandundercurrents.com expired on 2017-01-22. It was possible to recover the domain for some weeks after its expiration — but due to the length of time that has passed but this is no longer possible.

  If a domain is not redeemed by the original registrant and is not purchased at auction, it is usually then returned to the pool of available domain names and can be registered again on a first-come, first-served basis.

  I just checked and the domain is currently available. Please register is as soon as you can if you want to use it again.
