Domain Renewal

    Hello,

    I received an email regarding my site’s (prowrestlingiowa.net) renewal. It says, ‘WordPress.com Premium costs $99.00, and it is set to expire in 4 days, on May 24, 2017. If this upgrade expires, all of the WordPress.com Premium features will be removed, and your site will no longer be available at prowrestlingiowa.com.’

    Now, what I am confused about is the .com part. The site that it is referring to is .net. A few years ago the original owner of prowrestlingiowa.com somehow lost the password or something so he created prowrestlingiowa.net which I run today. I want to keep prowrestlingiowa.NET going, but have no use for prowrestlingiowa.COM. Do I need to renew this subscription to keep .NET? Or can i disregard it b/c I do not want/need .COM? Please get back to me ASAP.
