  Hi!

  I’ve owned the domain faithwrites.com for the past two years and missed the renewal date on July 10, 2018. (I recently changed email addresses and emails from this account were no longer forwarding.) I would like to renew for another year.

  That domain is now in the redemption period and there are extra costs incurred if staff attempt recovery from the Registrar. See: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-expiration/

  Hi Faith,

  As @themagicrobot mentioned (thanks) the domain, faithwrites.com is currently in the redemption period this means that we can get retrieve it, however, in addition to the renewal cost an $80 fee is charged by our register due to the time which has passed. Unfortunately, this fee is not one we can waive.

  If you’d like to start the redemption process let us know and we’ll send you a manual payment link to get the process started.

  Of course, I’m happy to help. So, to start, I have sent a note off to our domain partner letting them know you agreed to their fee. Typically we hear back from them in 2-3 days and at that time someone from the team will be back in touch to pass along an update.

  You’ll also find that I’ve sent an email your way with the payment for the redemption period and domain registration renewal fee. The total is $106. Please confirm once you’ve submitted that payment so I can make sure it came through alright.
