  Hi! I cannot find where to renew my domain after it expired.

  My domain expired two months back and the only option available on my purchases is for an upgrade. I cannot use the previous domain as it has expired and I am being told to contact support to get it back. Thanks!

  Hi there,

  I checked and https://move.wordpress.com/ is now in a redemption period. The charge is $18 to renew the domain. Please confirm here if you agree to pay the fees and I will begin the domain restoration process along with providing a manual payment.

  Thanks for you reply! I just want to clarify that in addition to the $18 fee to renew the domain, is there also the additional $80 redemption fee?

  Normally there is a $80 redemption fee, but at the moment our domain provider is waiving that fee to assist people who might be negatively affected financially due to the pandemic.

  So at this point, as long as we complete the process within the next week, you only need to pay the renewal fee to get back your domain.

  I’ve sent you a link via email to pay for the renewal. Once we receive your payment we can email our domain provider to restore the domain.

  I’ve emailed our domain provider to restore the domain. They usually respond within 48 hours, but we’ll let you know as soon as the domain is back in your account.
