I need help redeeming my expired domain. I would like to renew it. I did not realize it had expired. Is it possible to recover it? My domain name was chronicallystylish.com. Please let me know. I can re-purchase it today. Thank you.

Hi there, because the domain is in redemption now, the registrar charges an $80 redemption fee in addition to the regular renewal fee. I’ve just sent an invoice. Can you pay that ASAP, then respond here to let us know that’s done?
If you don’t want to pay the extra $80 fee, you can allow the domain expiration process to continue, but please know that’s a risky process. Let us know and we can remove the invoice if that’s your preference.
Either way, domain redemption is time sensitive, so let us know as soon as possible what you’d like to do.

Hi yes I can pay it, today. Where did you send the invoice? My email is (email visible only to moderators and staff). I haven’t received anything via email yet.

The invoice was sent to the email address on the account which owned the domain, which is not the account you’re currently logged in to and not the email address you quoted.

I’m not sure what email it was because this is the only one I use and have access too. Can it not be done through this account or email address?

The domain was definitely purchased under a different account, and the account you’re currently logged in to does not have access to the site in question.
You must have a second account here. Try all email addresses you have access to.

Hi I’ve tried all emails addresses and password matches that I can think of, but am hitting a wall, and none are matching. I also don’t have access to the email addresses anymore, so I can’t even reset it. Is the email address (email visible only to moderators and staff)? I don’t have access to that anymore. Is there another way I can verify my identity and use this email to receive the invoice, pay it, and get my domain back?

Yes, you can still recover the account with a transaction ID from the previous domain purchase or renewal. Go to https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
Those details are unique identifiers to your account. Do not share them with anyone. Do not post them on this public forum.

Hi I attempted to fill out the form, but it will not allow me to submit it because it says the domain does not exist. This is because it has expired, and is in the redemption period, and I am trying to renew it from there. Please let me know what else I can do. I have a receipt ID I can provide, but again, it will not let me submit the form. Thank you.
