  Hi. I’m hoping to get help with renewing my domain. Unfortunately, my credit card on file was expired and the warning emails were sent to an email address that is dormant so I didn’t get the messages. I still need to keep the domain active. Is it still possible to renew? I did read the support page on domain expiration, but need help navigating all of the different steps.

  Hi there, actually this domain is in redemption right now because it expired quite a while ago:
  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/

  The registrar charges an $80 redemption fee in addition to the regular renewal fee. I’ve just sent an invoice. Can you pay that ASAP, then respond here to let us know that’s done?

  If you don’t want to pay the extra $80 fee, you can allow the domain expiration process to continue, but please know that’s a risky process. Let us know and we can remove the invoice if that’s your preference.

  Either way, domain redemption is time sensitive, so let us know as soon as possible what you’d like to do.
