Domain renewal / account log-in

  Melodyspringsfarm.org is up for renewal in May. We cannot reset its credentials because WordPress tells us it is under a different account. Likewise, we can’t seem to renew the domain name because we can’t get to that account. Under current log-in WordPress tells us we have no websites created yet. How do we renew if we can’t even get there? We also lost the ability to edit the Melodyspringsfarm.org site because we can’t reset the password. It’s a vicious cycle. Of course, since WordPress does not offer dedicated support, we are stuck. Older couple with close to -0- website setup experience.

  So it does look like the domain is actually on a different WordPress.com account. We can help with logging into that account, though! First, you’ll need to locate proof of account ownership and send it to us.

  The easiest option might be to look for a transaction ID on your credit card statement for payments made to WordPress.com. This page explains how to locate the transaction ID on your credit card statement.

  Once you have the transaction ID, please use the account recovery form here to send it over to us. Our account recovery team will get back to you via email to help you log into the correct account.
