Domain Renewal (alert of not functioning anymore)

  Hey there,

  joelwills from the staff told me a few weeks ago I shouldn’t worry about getting automatic alerts about my domain not working anymore soon, because ICANN sends it without checking my correctly set auto-renewal.

  But now I see that on my My-Domains-site it says my domain is renewed at 15th of January and on my Upgrade-site it says it’s not going to work after 25th of January.
  I’ve just payed my renewed Premium abo, so I just hope this is a false alarm….
  Please, someone explain these contradicting infos and help me!

  Was the notice about the 15th of January from WordPress.com? or ICANN? Your domain was renewed with your Premium plan, so it will now expire on January 25, 2016.
