Domain renewal check-out error: 'This blog is not subscribed to some of these…

Am desperately trying to renew my domain mapping for newarkbikeproject.org. It expires today.
1) Yesterday, I went to my site, and WordPress automatically presents me with the ‘your domain is about to expire…renew now!’ I choose to ‘renew’.
2) I am presented a simple payment form, which I fill out and submit, but at the of the transaction, I get a message across the top of the page in red: ‘This blog is not subscribed to some of these products. Did you mean to purchase them?’, with a new blank credit card purchase form. I RE-try it, and it’s still looping back with that message. I’ve tried credit card and Paypal… same result.
Strangely, the bottom of the credit card charge page says: ‘Your order will automatically renew on September 2, 2016. You can disable automatic renewals at any time.’
QUESTION: Am I renewed? If not, how do I get around the strange ‘This blog is not subscribed…’ message above?

You are not logged in under the correct username account.
Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address. The blog’s owner can login in under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased the upgrade(s) and renew upgrades at > Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.

Thank you! I don’t know why WP presented me (when logged in with my account) with the renewal option if I am not the correct username to do so. I will forward your helpful advice to the creator of the account. Thanks, again!.

Hi there,
Our team is investigating that issue (the option you see to renew that upgrade and the resulting error message). For now, please ask the administrator who purchased that domain upgrade to log in to their account and renew it from their My Upgrades page.

I am an employee at the Newark Bike Project, and had a few questions for you about the renewing the domain name. We are trying to get the original account holder to renew the subscription, but they are out of communication (not near a computer) for this week. If there is any way you could extend us a grace period on the website so it can remain active during this intermediate time, it would be greatly appreciated. We are trying to get the website back up and running as soon as possible. Thank you for your time
