Domain Renewal Confusion

    I initially registered my domain with iwantmyname last year and then a few days later I registered it through WP (so I paid WP and iwantmyname for my domain). I just renewed it through WP, but iwantmyname has contacted me to inform me that I need to renew it with them.

    Do I need to renew it with iwantmyname? I’m confused. I just paid $13 and change at WP, and it says my domain is good until 12/2013.

    My domain name is marantphiles.com

    Hi there, while you mapped the domain marantphiles.com to your WordPress site – that’s the $13/year charge – the domain itself is not registered through us.

    I did a search of the whois domain database and your domain is indeed registered through iWantMyName:
