    Hello,
My domain is set to expire on June 12th, but everytime I click on the link to renew it the only possible option that I have is to upgrade my plan to a professional one. Even when go to my payment settings, I am immediately redirected to the ‘purchases’ page that only offers me to upgrade. Is it now impossible to renew a domain with a free plan?
    Thanks

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You will need to purchase a Premium upgrade. See here for details on purchasing the annually renewable Premium bundle of upgrades http://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/

You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and purchase upgrades at > Dashboard> Store > My Upgrades
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/

Your only options for payment are found here http://en.support.wordpress.com/payment/

Your billing history will be at Dashboard > Store > Billing History
https://en.support.wordpress.com/billing-history/ Your Billing History page is where you can print out your own receipt. https://wordpress.com/me/billing

WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner of that upgrade.

Typically this happens because you ended up with a second WordPress.com user account at some point and THAT account is the one that was used to purchase the upgrade. You will need to log into that second account in order to renew the upgrade.
