domain renewal refunded. why?

Hi I’ve upgraded my domain bingzhealinghands.com a few days ago but it doesn’t show when I type the url. I emailed to ask for help but now I’ve got a refund on my domain renewal and my domain has disappeared. Can you explain why this is happening?

Hello there, Per the note sent to you yesterday by Tony, your domain expired on April 1, 2014. Due to the length of time between expiration and your attempt to renew, it was released and we were unable to retrieve it. While you attempted to renew, it was too late, and Tony refunded you.
As you can no longer save the domain by renewing it, you will have to repurchase it once it is available.

Thank you for your reply. Now I understand. I didn’t see any note or reply from my mailbox regarding the refund and was getting worried That was why I contacted support here.
