  Yesterday I bought a domain name through wordpress.com. Then I returned it and got a refund because I realized that wordpress.org was a better fit. Now that I am using wordpress.org w/ Bluehost, how can I rebuy that domain? It’s currently in limbo and showing as unavailable. Thank you.

  Deleting a domain and hoping you will be able to use it elswhere is risky business. A deleted domain doesn’t become available immediately – https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-expiration/

  You must wait untill a Staff member is available and is hopefully able to recover that domain.
