Domain Reserved?

  Hi There,

  I would like to get the wordpress.com url of granulr.wordpress.com, but for some reason it says “Reserved”. I have checked and there is no website currently on there.

  We are going to be using this as part of our business (http://granulr.uk) and blog about the startup of the business.

  It does not matter what the underlying.wordpress.com blog URL is when you are domain mapping so be clear on that please.

  That URL is reserved for registration only by the person with the matching username account. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/profile/granulr

  When we register a username account the matching blog is reserved for our future use. It cannot be obtained by anyone other than the person who has registered the matching username account.

  If and only if you have the matching username account then log in under the correct username account and as the blog is reserved for you and you will register it after logging in under the correct username account.
  https://signup.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1

  However, if you changed your username then the blog URL will not be available for use under the new username account.

  In the event that you think you registered the matching username account 6 years ago and have lost your log-in information, please use account recovery https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and the Staff will help you by email ie. off of these public support forums that everyone with internet access can view.
