Domain reserved

Hey,
my problem is a bit complicated to describe, but I’ll try:
I’m about to create a Blog on WordPress. Some days ago I was just having a look at the page. I tried the domain ‘(email visible only to moderators and staff)’ and it was free. Then I was away for some days and a friend of mine created this account and wanted to create the blog using this domain. Suddenly it wasn’t available anymore. Just ‘afthueblog.wordpress.com’. And if you entered the first domain to the adress bar it was told: There is no page like this, but the domain is reserved yet.
When I was back home, I tried again. And in my browser the proposed name was even still saved – obviously it was reserved for me. So it would have worked, but when I went on to create the page there was no possibility to log in with the account my friend created. Instead I had to make a new account. So I went back to the first page, logged in and started again to create this blog. But now the domain wasn’t available, even if I logged out again. I now can’t get the domain that was reserved for ME.
I already have deleted my cache and so on… What can I do else? I really need this domain. I hope one can understand my problem. Thank you very much! -
