Domain Retrieval

  A few years ago, I had purchased our domain name through WordPress, and have since transferred the domain name to Wix. It has very recently expired but is unable to be renewed because the domain is in limbo. How do I get our domain name back? (all of our mailboxes are tied to this domain name, so have not been able to access our emails for the past 2 days.) We’re in desperate need of help, ASAP! Thank you!

  Hi there,

  Your domain has already been removed from our system and is currently in redemption with our registrar. It is still possible for me to recover the domain at this point, but our registrar charges an $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. Let me know if you agree to that fee and I can get the recovery process started.

  I’ve sent you a link via email you can use to pay.

  Please reply here once you’ve completed payment, and we can email our domain provider to restore your domain.

  You should be able to see the domain active again in your WordPress.com account. PLEASE let us know ASAP if you do not.
