Domain retrieval

    Hello,

    I had a blog with a custom domain, with everything handled by wordpress.com.

    I transferred the ownership of the blog, but the new owner couldn’t manage the associated domain, and it didn’t appear anywhere anymore in my admin interface.

    The domain is now in the redemption period, how can I retrieve it and transfer it to the new owner?

    The domain valdegrimpe.com is actually owned by the site owner. The site owner has let both the WordPress.com Premium plan and the domain valdegrimpe.com expire.

    I have sent an invoice to the site and domain owner for the domain redemption fee. Since this domain is in the redemption fee, it does include the $80 redemption fee in addition to the $19 registration fee for this domain. This invoice was sent to the email address attached to their WordPress.com account. Please note that we can’t offer any additional account specific help for that account here unless the site and domain owner is able to comment here in this thread.
