Domain retrieve

Greeting, few months back I refunded a year of subscription + the domain cost (www.tristram.org), the reason I wasn’t sure WordPress was the right web-building tool for my webpage. Now I’m willing to give WordPress another shot but I can’t seem to rebuy my old domain, nor I see someone using it.. is it possible to retrieve that domain and use it again or I have to find a new one. I really don’t want that to be the case since I will possible won’t host a site if it is not called ‘tristram’. Thank you.

Hi! It looks like the domain is going through the deletion process now. What that means is that it is not available to purchase or restore today, but within the next week or so, it should come out of
pendingDeletestatus (which can be seen here in the public domain information when you search: https://lookup.icann.org/en/lookup ), and then you could re-register it.I should note that we don’t have any specific details on when it becomes available for purchase once again; my best suggestion for now is to check regularly so you can register it as soon as possible once it becomes available once more.
