Domain Sending to Deleted Site

    I purchased our business domain through GoDaddy and was told that utilizing WordPress would be a great way to create our website. As I went through the process of building, I realized that WP was not user friendly enough for me and opted to go back and utilize GD for the website instead. I have gone through and deleted the WP site and yet when I publish my GD site, the domain brings me to hammerheadsonar.wordpress.com? I cannot get any of my information to detach from the WP forwarding and in turn cannot publish my completed site through GD?
