Domain Setup

  I’m signing up to host our blog page in WordPress but our ecomm site is with shopify. In Shopify or WordPress, a user should have the capability to go to either site. How do I set up my domain with WordPress, although, it is set up with shopify already?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Many thanks for reaching out.

  I’m signing up to host our blog page in WordPress but our ecomm site is with shopify. 

  I suspect this is down to the domain set up… Are you able to tell me what URL you’d like to see under both the shop and the blog?

  This will help us to determine how best to set that up.

  Also, to check, are you looking to move away from Shopify to WordPress.com to enhance or merge the functionality of the site as a whole? It is possible to do and this guide here explains how to do this: https://woocommerce.com/posts/migrate-from-shopify-to-woocommerce/

  To note, a site using WooCommerce on WordPress.com, would need to be on the business plan at a minimum, in order to run an ecommerce solution.
