  If you already have a domain name you wish to use for a WordPress.com site you can either transfer it to WordPress.com or you can keep it hosted with your provider and then map it to your WordPress.com site. You can read more about domains here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/.

  Bear in mind that in order to map a domain to a WordPress.com site you’ll need to be a paid plan: https://wordpress.com/pricing/.
