Domain Status Request

    I purchased a domain from WordPress a while back and want to check on it because it looks like it is being used without my permission. Can I get some help from WordPress?

    Hi there,

    From what I can see you registered your domain queenscrowning.com with us on Nov 3, 2017, as part of our Business Plan. You can confirm here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/26110459

    Please note that your domain is included for free for only the first year. After that you do need to pay separately to renew it for continued years.

    As a courtesy we renewed the domain in 2018 as you reached out to us to ask for more time to pay, but you were responsible for paying the renewal in 2019. I do not see any renewal payments for your domain in 2019 when I look here: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/

    I do see that you purchased a new Business plan upgrade in 2019, but this purchase did not include the renewal of your domain, which would have been billed separately.

    Because of this your domain expired for lack or renewal, and was returned to the registry to prepare it for resale. I can confirm that someone else now owns this domain. Sorry we were not able to assist you in this matter, you would need to contact the current domain owner instead, and ask if they will be willing to sell it to you directly.
