Domain Stopped Working
-
I purchased the upgrade to map a domain name to my wordpress blog. Now my blog seems to have disappeared and I only see the domain service website in its place. When I first tested the new URL http://nowastedink.com it had been properly attached to my wordpress blog and everything was working fine. I’m not sure why it would work and then suddenly not be working if it was just a matter of the domain shifting over.
I can’t even find my wordpress blog if I type the original address wendyvancamp.wordpress.com. Should I wait and see if this resolves itself shortly or is there something that I should be doing to fix this problem?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What is the .wordporess.com sub-domain URL starting with http:// that you are mapping from?
Have 72 hours passed since you set your primary domain? During that time having the domain URLs and the sub-domain URLs switching back and forth is common.
The progress of your domain name propagating throughout the internet as each location flushes their DNS caches can be viewed here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/
5. To activate your new domain, select the button next to the one you wish to activate and click Update Primary Domain. Your blog will be accessible from both of these domains; the Primary Domain is what actually appears as your domain within the address bar of web browsers. If you do not see your blog at the new domain immediately, please allow some time for the DNS changes to propagate. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/register-domain/#instructions-for-registering-a-new-domain-for-your-blog

http://nowastedink.com/ appears to be working properly.
It can take domain changes up to 72 hours (though usually much less) to propagate to your ISP. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your ISP refreshes their DNS cache.

The domain is not working for me. However, it has not been 72 hours since I purchased the domain add on. What threw me is that it started working right off the bat and then suddenly stopped working. I can’t even view my stats page, only the domain service that I purchased the domain from shows up.
I don’t see the new URL listed along with the old subdomain URL address in my account. I hope that it simply IS that I need to wait. I’m asking the domain service to double check my settings at the other end too.

I’m in Eastern Canada and I can see your site just fine at the new address (nowastedlink.com), so yes, it’s just a question of waiting.

Okay. I am reassured. Thank you all for checking to see if my site was there or not. I will simply wait it out.

For some reason the site owner seems to be the last one to see the changes, happened on the two sites I moved here.
