also I think the domain name is being used by someone else. I’m happy to switch to a new name–I just want to be able to access the content again.

Ok, I was trying to figure this out and maybe cancelled my original blog? Which I don’t want to do! I also tried getting it to point to a new domain name.

Hello –
The domain you were previously using had expired, and that was why you were getting the message overlay on your site. That domain name has been registered by someone else in the meantime. I removed the subscription to that domain from your account so that your blog can be seen again.
Your new domain is up and working and your content is available!
