    Hi there!

I checked your domain and found out that it isn’t registered or hosted by us at WordPress.com. It appears the domain is registered with Bluehost. Do you own the domain through Bluehost?

I do see a WordPress.com site at https://mycoffeetalkblog.wordpress.com – If this is the correct site, the domain you used on this site was mycoffeetalk.blog, not mycoffeetalkblog.com.

The domain mycoffeetalk.blog expired a long time ago, and it’s no longer owned by you, so you won’t be able to use it anymore. You can choose a different domain for your site, though. If you’d like to go that route, I recommend upgrading to a WordPress.com plan, which is required to set a custom domain as the primary address on a WordPress.com site.

You previously had the WordPress.com Personal plan. You can upgrade again using the button below:

After upgrading, please follow the instructions here to register a new domain:

Yes, I previously bought my domain through WordPress, but went through Bluehost for hosting. This allowed me to have the domain without WordPress in the link. I was in a really bad accident which had me down for almost a year and so I lost everything and had to start over. I bought back mycoffeetalkblog domain and renewed my hosting through Bluehost. How do I link them?

Let me explain a bit about the different versions of “WordPress” to make things clearer:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software is what powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org is the open-source project that works on the WordPress software. In your case, you used the software on Bluehost hosting.
    3. WordPress.com is a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software, and where you are right now.

Since your website was hosted with Bluehost, they would be the ones who might have your site’s files. However, it’s worth mentioning that when hosting expires, companies often remove all data associated with the account. To recover your site, I recommend contacting Bluehost support as soon as possible and explaining your situation. Hopefully, they can assist you in retrieving your site.

In the worst-case scenario, if you are unable to recover your site from Bluehost, we still have the content of your previous site that was here before the move. While it may not include everything, you can use it to import into your new site, ensuring that you have some content to work with.

I hope this helps! If you have any more questions or concerns, feel free to let us know.
