I recently switched my domain hosting over to wordpress. It worked perfectly for six weeks but it is now displaying an error message when I try to access the site.Domain suspended

ICANN – Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers – has introduced the Expired Registration Recovery Policy (ERRP).According to the ERRP, all registrars are obliged to implement several procedures, such as the domain name system suspension (DNS suspension) at least eight days before the domain cancellation date. After the cancellation of the domain there is a period called redemption period, during which the owner of the domain can recover it at an higher price.

Contact your internet service provider to renew the domain in order to avoid cancellation and to bring back immediately online your website.I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong. When I go to my domain management page it still lists annahubbooks.com as my domain and says the registration expires next year. Can anyone help?

You need to check with your domain registrar which is not WordPress.COM

As @auxclass mentioned, you’ll need to reach out to your domain registrar regarding this issue. Your domain is mapped to WordPress.com, but that’s a bit separate than the registration. In order for the domain to work, you’ll need to maintain both the registration (at Register.IT) and mapping (at WordPress.com). In this case, the registration is causing the issue.
