Domain Switching for Foodimentary

    On foodimentaryguy.wordpress.com, I’m trying to register the domain “www.foodimentary.com” in its settings. I’ve gone into GoDaddy several days ago and changed the nameservers to NS1, 2, and 3.WORDPRESS.COM. Forwarding is turned off.

    When I go through my wordpress site to try and register my domain with its changed nameservers, I keep getting the error “Someone (maybe you?) has already registered…” and it says the nameservers are 216.69.185.14 and 208.109.255.14 instead of the wordpress nameservers reflected in my Godaddy settings.

    To add to the weirdness, if I try going to foodimentary.com, it takes me to my wordpress site masked in an iframe as though Godaddy has domain forwarding with masking still turned on. This may be an issue I have to take up with Godaddy and not a problem on WordPress’s side, so I’ll be posting in their forums too.

    Hi. It looks like you solved this, as foodimentary.com takes me to your WordPress.com-hosted blog, without any kind of masking.
