Domain switching…Help!

  Help me!

  I made a boo-boo with my sites.

  I was trying to switch content from my custom domain (globalinthekitchen.com) back to my existing older blog. In hopes to make an easy switch I just changed the globalinthekitchen.com domain to globalinthekitchen.wordpress.com. I realize now that this was a terrible idea.

  My content is now gone, for the most part. The wordpress admin dashboard for both sites now appear to edit the same old content (aug 2015) on the wordpress.com site, and the newer content (up to May 2016) from globalinthekitchen.com seems to be gone.

  I need help! Is there anyway to save the content?

  Hi there,

  I can see your site with the newer content at http://globalinthekitchen.com but it’s not hosted with us. It looks like it might be a Bluehost site. If you want to access this site from the WordPress.com Dashboard where you currently access globalinthekitchen.wordpress.com then you’ll need to make sure Jetpack is installed and properly connected. As a first step try deactivating the Jetpack plugin and then connecting to WordPress.com again.
