Domain Taken But Unused

    In October 2009, the domain piratesandpixiedust.wordpress.com was acquired by an unknown entity that has never written a single post. Is it possible to reclaim this domain into the data banks and let a new blogger like me acquire it?

    Hi there,

    I’m afraid that is not possible. A quote from this page –

    For the most part, we cannot recycle or reassign site addresses (URLs) which may appear to be abandoned. We respect bloggers’ ownership of their content and therefore will not move or delete a site without its owners consent — no matter how long it has been since their last update.
