domain to site issues

    Hi there,

    I have my domain name from GoDaddy. When I was working on my wordpress site I linked it. Now that I have my WIX site ready I want to link it with my domain. How do I do that? For some reason when I link them it shows up as http://www.nandananadkarni.com.wordpress.com.wordpress.com
    I need it to just be my http://www.nandananadkarni.com.
    There is an issue with wordpress that is somehow blocking that, how do I fix that now that my website is no longer from wordpress but from WIX?
    Please let me know.

    Hi there,

    The domain, nandananadkarni.com, has never been connected to any site on WordPress.com, and we have no control at all over any aspect of that domain. If the domain is redirecting to that address, which by the way is a completely invalid WordPress.com address, it’s because something is misconfigured on GoDaddy’s end.

    Please contact them for help with this, as we don’t have any access to your domain.

    The “WordPress” you’ve been using with GoDaddy is the open source software found on WordPress.org, which is something completely separate and different from WordPress.com, which is a hosting provider like GoDaddy and Wix.
