Domain tranfer

    I’m trying to transfer my domain to WordPress. I got to the domain page once and it was blank. Now I can’t get to WordPress domain page by way of support. I log in and it keeps going to my login page.

    Hi there,

    I see the account you are logged in as, molemantwo, had previously connected Jetpack to the domain, theliedertree.com which is currently pointing to Bluehost. It sounds like you may be wanting to use this domain with a WordPress.com hosted site instead of a self-hosted WordPress site. If so, it’s great to have you on board!

    The first step to use the domain with a WordPress.com site is to create a new site from the following URL:
    https://wordpress.com/jetpack/new

    Once a site is created you’ll be able to purchase a plan and map or transfer your domain to us. We have documented this process at:

    If you need any help transferring the domain once a new site has been created let us know.

    I already purchased a two year plan a few days ago when I thought the transfer
    had been completed. I had also started creating a site.

    Hi there,

    What is the WordPress.com address for which you bought the plan?

    The account you’re using to post here has never bought any plans from WordPress.com, and you also don’t own any WordPress.com sites. The only site in this account is the Jetpack-connected site, http://www.theliedertree.com, that is hosted by Bluehost and using the open source version of WordPress.

    It looks like a transfer for that domain was bought by the username, septicmole166. If that is also your account, you need to first log in as that account before we’re able to help you with this domain.

    I’m logged in. When I am “My Site” and I attempt to go to Domains-add, the next screen that comes up is blank. I have spoken with BlueHost and my domain with them is unlocked and I have the EPP code. So, how do I get to the transfer page?

    And by the way, I paid for a two year plan on Aug 25, billed to Discover Card.

    Hi there,

    What’s going on here must be that you’ve created a second account at WordPress.com which you bought the two-year plan on. If this is the case you’ll want to sign out as molemantwo and sign back in as your other user. You may log out by going to https://wordpress.com/me

    Once you are logged in as the account which bought the plan you’ll be able to transfer the domain to us at no additional cost.

    Otherwise, a plan will need to be bought on the account you have currently logged in as.
