Domain transer to WordPress from GoDaddy

  Think that was done. So now I want to get my prior published web site up and running. I paid twice in error for an upgrade today. So my old website was missing and I can not connect to it?

  I checked your domain, and from what I see, the transfer was initiated today (December 5). Remember that the transfer may take up to 7 days to complete.

  I paid twice in error for an upgrade today. So my old website was missing and I can not connect to it?

  You indeed have two sites with two Personal plan subscriptions:

  • https://darleneengellennerarts.wordpress.com/ (new subscription)
  • https://dengellennerhotmail.wordpress.com/ (your original site)

  I moved your domain to the old site, where it should be.

  However, you might have to wait for the transfer to finish before you can use the domain with your site as a primary site address because once the transfer starts, it’s impossible to change the DNS records for that domain.

  You can, however, try modifying the DNS records by changing the Name Servers from your GoDaddy dashboard to:

  • ns1.wordpress.com
  • ns2.wordpress.com
  • ns3.wordpress.com

  If you can’t do it now, don’t worry — it will be possible after the transfer is completed.

  Regarding your new site’s accidental upgrade — you can cancel it from here:

  Click the “Cancel plan” button, and the refund will be immediately issued.

  💡 Remember that depending on the banks processing it, the refund may take up to 15 business days to settle into your account.
