domain transfer

    Considering moving my personal site from wix to wordpress. What happens to my WordPress url ‘blogsite.wordpress.com’ if I transfer my domain ‘personalsite.com’? How does that work? Can I keep ‘blogsite.wordpress.com’ and have it direct to a page on my new URL with the same content?

    You’ll keep blogsite.wordpress.com and personalsite.com will basically become a new pair of clothes on top of it, but it will always be blogsite.wordpress.com underneath and the redirects to the new link structure will be automatic.
