  I created a domain name and webhosting from InterServer. Does WordPress offer webhosting? What is benefit of transferring domain name to WordPress?

  Hi, our web hosting is a bit different from a traditional hosting plan, but we do indeed host managed WordPress installations here on our servers.

  The main benefit of transferring a domain: you won’t have to worry about managing the plan renewal here and the domain renewal with its existing provider. Also you do get the first year from that transfer free, so if your domain provider is just a little cheaper than our pricing (starting at $18/year, including WHOIS privacy protection) it may well make sense to move it here.

  I forgot to add, if you don’t want to transfer the domain, but still want to use our services with it, you’d be welcome to map the domain instead. That’s free with your plan.
