  Hi WordPress!

  I have a domain name registered with another host.

  Can I still build a site on WordPress and transfer the domain name once the 60 day lock period is over?

  Yes, you can transfer your domain to WordPress.com after 60 days of registration.

  If you wish to start using the domain name with your WordPress.com site now, you can map your domain name to your site.
