  hi i have renewed my domain with godaddy (PLANTSPACES.IN) which i would like to transfer to wordpress.com and get a personal plan.
  1. I would like to know if the transfer is chargeable?
  2. If yes, then how much?
  3. My plan is renewed for 3 years will that be valid and extended by one year if i register for a personal plan ?
  4. how many days will the process take? i have no site development currently on that domain.

  If you upgrade to the Personal Plan, it includes one domain transfer for free. The domain will also be renewed automatically for an additional year once the transfer completes.

  3. My plan is renewed for 3 years will that be valid and extended by one year if i register for a personal plan ?

  WordPress.com plans can only be bought for one year, or two years at a time.

  All plans include one free domain registration for one year, or one domain transfer which includes a domain renewal for one year. From the second year onwards, the domain renews at an additional cost on top of the plan’s renewal cost.

  4. how many days will the process take?

  A domain transfer usually takes around a week to complete.
