Domain transfer

  I have a domain name hosted by Bluehost. I want to transfer it to be a free WordPress hosted domain. I use my blog irregularly and continuing to pay hosting fees is not viable. What route can I use to achieve this?

  Hi there, you’d be welcome to import the content of the site like this:
  https://transferto.wordpress.com/self-hosted-wordpress-org/

  If you want to transition to a totally free domain, for the first year, I would recommend transferring the domain here, but not using it as a primary domain. That way anyone who links to the domain will be redirected to your new, free address. Then, next year, you can opt to keep the domain or allow it to expire.
