  Once a domain is transferred you mention it includes an additional year, what are the fee charges thereafter?

  Hi there ,

  do you you mean transfer domain from existing host to wordpress.com ?

  If yes, whatever plan you choose, the cost of domain is included in the 1st year plan price, thereafter you have to pay for the plan as well as domain renewal charges.

  Hi there,

  To transfer a domain to us, you’ll need a paid plan. As part of the plan you can transfer one domain for free, and the transfer also includes a domain renewal. In other words, if your domain is currently registered until July 2020, it will be registered until July 2021 once the transfer completes.

  The first renewal of your plan will not renew the domain as well. The domain will renew separately, depending on its expiration date. The cost of the domain renewal will depend on the domain – a .com cost $18, for example. You can see the renewal costs of the different domain extensions we support here:
