  If I transfer the domain to WordPress, is it going to delete existing webpage or it won’t until I build the new one?

  Hi there!

  The domain is just an address, it will not delete your site, it will just start pointing to the new site. So if you want to work on your site before switching the domain, use the free WordPress.com subdomain while working on your site and only transfer the custom domain once you’re ready.
