Domain transfer

  I need to create an A record on my domain name

  My new site host has said that in order to transfer my domain name over I need to create an A record for my domain with a destination of 50.116.52.63

  I don’t know how to do this, are you able to help please?

  Are you looking to transfer your domain to a new registrar? Or are you trying to point eat-move-love.com to a new webhost (such as Weebly, Wix, GoDaddy, etc)?

  to be honest I am not too sure (I really am not technically minded when it comes to this stuff!) I think maybe its a registrar? it still uses wordpress to organise the site…. its through http://www.fitprosites.com if that helps?

  So you want to point eat-move-love.com to your new site through http://www.fitprosites.com, correct?

  Did they give you any specific instructions on the method they would like you to do this via? A URL to their support page would be great. Or just paste in the content of any email they have sent you about it.

  yes, I want my new site to have that domain name which I have registered through my blog on wordpress.com

  Okay, I have followed those instructions. I’m not seeing it point to fitprosites, but perhaps you need to talk to them in order to do the final step?
