Domain transfer

    I had a domain name as “wardno9.wordpress.com” and it was deleted because of some technical reasons. I have had another substituted website as “wardnonine.wordpress.com.” However, I cannot transfer my substituted website to the original domain as “wardno9.wordpress.com” even it has been totally deleted for more than 30 days.
    As “wardno9.wordpress.com” is not being used, is it possible to apply it to my substituted website then?

    Hi there,

    When you delete a free WordPress.com address, that address is completely removed from our system, and can never be used again by anyone, including the original owner. This was clearly stated on the confirmation screen where you delete the site.

    It is possible for us to restore a deleted site for 30 days, but after those 30 days the deletion is permanent, and it’s no longer possible to restore the address. The deleted address does not become available for re-use after 30 days.

    You deleted wardno9.wordpress.com on 1 July, more than 30 days ago, and that address has already been permanently disabled, so it is no longer possible to restore it to your account.
