Domain Transfer

  I would like to use a domain that I already own, but when I try do the transfer, I get the error message: ‘This domain is already mapped to a WordPress.com site.’

  I am the owner of the domain.

  What is the domain you’re trying to transfer and what site are you trying to transfer it to?

  Thanks. Are you able to log in as the upgrade owner? It’s under another username, or you can use the email address that gets notifications.

  I’m double checking on whether this domain can be transferred in here, too.

  Hi there,

  .co.za domains cannot be transferred to WordPress.com, as we’re not an accredited registrar for that domain extension.

  Mapping it as you already have is the only way to use that domain here.
