Domain Transfer

  I just bought a domain name from godaddy and paid for 5 years of registrations. Will that 5 years transfer to wordpress if I completely transfer my domain to wordpress?

  Hi there,

  We do not offer multi-year registrations so your transfer would include one year of registration, but we do not have a way to honor the purchase you made with GoDaddy

  Instead I would recommend “mapping” your domain instead, which leaves the domain at GoDaddy, but allows you to use it as the address of your WordPress.com site. Domain mapping is included in all our plans listed here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
